Hi Amazonians,

Here is a run down of the fantastic presentations we have scheduled for this month.

Firstly Justin Clift from Red Hat will be presenting (in his words):

Instead of just presenting Aeolus and what it does, I'm thinking it would be more sensible to present on what Red Hat's more complete "Cloud" related projects do, and how that's useful to AWS.

For clarity that means:

+ oVirt (open source alternative to vSphere)

+ Katello (package management)

+ Aeolus (bridges local and public cloud infrastructure, so you can launch and manage the same vm's in AWS/vSphere/oVirt)

Our second presentation will be by Jason Noorman and offsider (yet to be named) from Pageup People.

Pageup are an interesting user of AWS and I’m looking forwards to hearing them talk.

I’ll also be showing off my new Podzy for anyone who is interested in hardware and how it can inter-operate with the cloud.

As always arrive at 6:00pm for a 6:15pm kick off.

Free beer and Pizza provided with the location being the York Butter Factory, 62-66 King St.
